Why do a DBS?

In the DBS we want to help today’s generation grow in both knowledge and understanding of God and His word, to give life giving answers to the myriad of questions society asks surrounding God and His Word. In the DBS we’ll get to learn together daily through lectures, small groups and discussions with one another. We’ll grow in the Spirit of the Word as

we are led by Truth in the Word! In the DBS we make the Bible our companion for life! We will experience the unified story of the Bible, worship in awe as the revelation of God is unveiled through the pages of this Holy book, falling deeper in love with the Author of the Bible. By the time we finish the DBS will not only be able to say that we have read the whole Bible. We will be able to say that we have discovered the Spirit of Truth Himself, as we engage with each page of the Scriptures. Come and let’s get to know the Lord Jesus Christ together through His Word!

Why Orlando?

At YWAM Orlando, we believe that God LOVES the world and everyone can be a part of reaching the nations with that love! We exist to equip people to be a part of the Great Commission in the way that God is uniquely leading them. That’s where our training schools come in. Nathan Sommers

My name is Nathan Sommers. I am from the state of Ohio and have been working with YWAM since 2016 when I did my DTS in New Zealand. I went on to do a DBS in Kona, HI. and completely fell in love with the transformational power of the word of God! I currently serve on staff with YWAM Orlando. I love to travel and have many hobbies but I am most passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power of God’s word!
