Why Durban?

Durban, is a beautiful coastal City, filled with diverse cultures, sun-kissed beaches and luscious forests. It is a tropical paradise! Durban is home to the delicious Bunny Chow, the world’s tallest bungee swing at the Moses Mabhida stadium, the busiest container port in Africa, the world’s 5th largest aquarium “Ushaka Marine World”, the breath-taking Golden Mile (a stretch of beach that runs 6 kilometres from Ushaka to The Blue Lagoon), and is one of the top surfing destinations in South Africa! School Leader

Erika Petro Goeda, born and raised in South Africa. She has been serving faithfully in YWAM for 25 years. She is dedicated to seeing nations discipled and equipped through training, and to share the gospel in all spheres of society and cultures around the world. Her heart is to see youth of all nations, tribes, and tongues express their worship to the one and only God in their own unique way.  She is passionate about helping people to cultivate their strengths so that they may glorify God. She believes in the power of the word of God and the liberty it brings to humanity. She is committed to knowing the word more deeply and stirring up that same desire in those around her. Lastly, she loves dancing, gardening, and singing. She also loves herbal tea (minus milk and sugar), running, and watching series.
