Why do a DBS?

One of the first things we learn in the DTS is: “To know God and to make Him known.” Yet one cannot possibly claim to know God if he/she does not know His Word. Our goal and prayer is that by the end of these 3 months of DBS the Bible will be your companion for LIFE! DBS will give you a Biblical foundation that is essential to see the Kingdom of God coming today and now, as the prayer Jesus taught His disciples in Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. God’s heart hasn’t changed, He still wants to use us to bring His kingdom for every nation, tongue and tribe.

Why Gold Coast?

Some of our values are to Know God, Family and Walking with people. We understand that it can sometimes be a little challenging to learn the Bible on your own. You do not need to do it by yourself! We are here to learn TOGETHER. DBS is a Discipleship Bible School where we will be gaining the overall perspective of God’s story with one another. You will have the opportunity to go deeper in His word with people from all around the world, making long life friends and having fun in the process of going from Genesis to Revelation in the beautiful city of Gold Coast!

Graziela is originally from Brazil and has been with YWAM since the beginning of 2019, when she did her DTS in Kona Hawaii. She is very passionate about discipleship and the Bible. After staffing DTS she decided to go deeper in the Word of God, committing herself to study the Bible for 9 intense months, doing her SBS in YWAM Amsterdam. After her SBS she moved to Australia and with her heart still burning for the Bible, the Lord gave her an invitation to gather a team and pioneer a DBS at YWAM Gold Coast. She is very excited to walk with people through the Word of God, discipling and helping them to know who God is, who they are in Him and from that place build a deep and solid foundation for their faith.
